Organic Quinoa 4th of July Fruit Salad Recipe

Screenshot_2016-06-20-18-34-51-1We’re always looking to add new staple dishes into our diet and while it’s not officially the 4th of July, this latest creation will most certainly be on the menu for that day.

Ingredients:
1 cup dry organic quinoa
fresh organic strawberries
fresh organic blueberries
fresh mint leaves
cinnamon
ginger

Dressing:
2 tbsp. raw honey
2 tbsp. lime juice
dash of salt
cinnamon
dash of coconut oil

This meal is so incredibly easy to make. Cook the quinoa according to the instructions, let it cool, then get creative with your additions. As with a lot of our dishes, just have fun with it. Add as many blueberries and strawberries as you’d like. There’s no set rule. This is a healthy and delicious option to add to your diet. The honey lime dressing makes this truly a refreshing treat.
