This early morning smoothie is loaded with tons of nutrients including Sunwarrior Illumin8 & Warrior Blend. Additional add-ins include: dash of cinnamon, ginger, quantum pink salt, maca, spirulina, apple cider vinegar, local raw honey, unsweetened coconut shreds, Almond milk, 1/2 banana, 3 strawberries, and a handful of watercress!
The Sunwarrior Illumin8 and Warrior Blend are typically enough for most people, but I always love to add in extra greens regardless. As far as the other ingredients that I add in, they are not necessary by any means. I add the local raw honey, apple cider vinegar, and choose watercress to help combat seasonal allergies. Quantum pink salt is added for additional trace minerals and enhances the flavor as well. Maca is an adaptogen that helps the body deal with stress and balances hormones. Cinnamon is a nice touch to help regulate glucose levels.
